According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Jan. 17, 6:30 a.m., 3300 block Broadway Ave., “McDonalds called PD for a subject who left saying wanted subject is outside. Officers respond and contacted a subject in the parking lot, subject claimed to be wanted, no warrant on file, subject uncooperative / PO authorized detainer,” 43-year old Benedict Anthony Mendonca III, Coquille, charged with Probation Violation and also cited for Disorderly Conduct. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Warrant
According to an entry on the NBPD log for Jan. 17, 5:08 p.m., “link to accident,” 44-year old Chad Kersh, Coos Bay, charged with Failure to Appear on Assault IV charge and transported to CCJ.
