Shoe Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, May 23, 8:16 p.m., 1659 Virginia Ave., Big 5, “RP reported male subject stole pair of shoes from location. Subject is with a female, female has the shoes in her bag. Last seen headed west on Virginia,” 29-year old Zahnie Moore taken into custody on NBPD warrant charging Probation Violation on original charge of Assault on Public Safety Officer, Possession of Meth and Attempt to Commit a Class C Felony. Also, CCSO warrant charging Probation Violation on original charge of Interfering with Peace or P&P Officer, and charged with Probation Violation. And, 33-year old Shawna Ball, North Bend, charged with Probation Violation. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Both subjects trespassed from Mall property.”
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, May 24, 12:06 a.m., 1800 block Qaxas St., “RP reported domestic at location then stated that neighbor is banging on the door but he won’t let him in,” 29-year old Michael Porter, Coos Bay, arrested on NBPD warrant charging Failure to Appear on original charges of DUII, Reckless Driving and 4-counts of Reckless Endangering. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
