According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, May 2, 12:58 p.m., 2100 block Marion, 66-year old male complained that a 75-year old male’s home had been burglarized.
Burglar Arrested
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, May 2, 10:12 p.m., 2200 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported burglary in progress, 2nd RP followed suspect to Clyde Allen Field, officers located suspect,” 39-year old Joseph Taylor Russell, North Bend, charged with Burglary I, Criminal Mischief II & Theft III. Additionally charged with Probation Violation. NBPD also served suspect with two valid CBPD warrants charging Failure to Appear on Criminal Trespass I & Theft III & FTA on FTA Criminal Citation. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
