Both Oregon and Oregon State’s women advanced to the NCAA Basketball Tournament’s “Sweet 16” with wins over the weekend. The Ducks (32-4) beat Seattle Friday 88-45 and then Minnesota Sunday 101-73 both at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. Oregon with play either Ohio State or Central Michigan, which play today, in Spokane, WA next Saturday. Oregon State (25-7) will play Baylor Friday in Lexington, Kentucky after the Beavers beat Western Kentucky 82-58, and then Tennessee 66-59.
