The Newport Chapter of Surfrider Foundation’s November chapter meeting is Thursday, November 8th at 6:30pm. The event is a social at Bier One, 424 SW Coast Highway. Bier One is family friendly and kids are welcome. Everyone attending the meeting will get a drink ticket from Newport Surfrider. Chapter officers will report on the recent Cascadia Conference with chapters from Oregon, Washington and B.C. The meeting will focus on getting input from members to plan chapter activities for 2019. The new 5th grade Ocean Club at Sam Case school is raffling a surfboard to raise funds for their projects. The board is on display at Bier One and raffle tickets will be available.
