5k July Jubilee Jaunt
News release from the City of North Bend. Welcome the July Jubilee Princesses as they arrive by North Bend Fire Department fireboat at the California Street Boat Ramp near the south end of the Boardwalk for the 2nd Annual July Jubilee Jaunt. This year’s commemorative t-shirt looks great! Register for the 5k early to be assured of a shirt for race day! The Jaunt starts on Saturday, July 18th at 9 a.m. for those wishing to walk the course with the runner’s event starting at 9:45 a.m. The Jaunt finishes at the redeveloped Grant Circle which will be dedicated at 11 a.m. with the unveiling of the L. J. Simpson statue. New events this year include: • Live Theatre Preview at 7 p.m., Friday, July 17th at the North Bend Community Center Little Theater on the Bay, Dolphin Playhouse, On Broadway Thespians and Pacific School of Dance; • All-School Basketball tourney hosted by North Bend High School; Anyone who has attended, or is attending, any Coos County high school, as well as anyone from schools in Florence or Reedsport is invited to participate.
