According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Aug. 24, 9:53 a.m., 1300 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported male subject could not pay for gas several days ago. He left his ODL and has never returned with the payment. Value $20.94. Officer contacted suspect who advised he will pay bill within the next couple of hours. If not he will be charged with Theft.”
