According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Jan. 28, 5:53 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., Mill Casino, “attempt warrant service,” 30-year old Camden Lawrence McSorley arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant charging Probation Violation on Burglary charge plus additional charge of Probation Violation. Also, 33-year old Kermit M. Gaston III, Coos Bay, arrested on CCSO warrants charging Failure to Appear on Contempt of Court charge and Failure to Appear on Contempt of Court charge. Additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and two-counts of Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon. Also, charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Probation Violation. CBPD warrant for Failure to Appear on Traffic Offense charge, and Multnomah Co. warrant charging Theft II. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Jan. 29, 2:52 a.m., Newmark & Oak, “traffic stop”, 20-year old Blaine Wyatt Monson, Coquille, charged with DWS Violation and Failure to File SR22, warned for Brake Light and Unsignaled Right Turn. Vehicle secured on scene. Driver will be referred for PCS Meth.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Jan. 29, 1:22 p.m., “warrant service by CBPD,” 24-year old Scott Robert Peterson arrested on NBPD warrant charging Probation Violation for Burglary I & Theft I, and Probation Violation for two-counts of Assault IV.
Grocery Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Jan. 29, 7:53 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “theft of groceries,” 45-year old Lori M. Gerhardt charged with Theft II ($548.92), cited in lieu of custody, “trespassed from all the local Safeway stores.”
Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Jan. 30, 12:36 a.m., 600 block Lombard St., “dispute between brothers. Report taken. Charge Assault IV Domestic and Interfering with a 911 Call. Probable Cause sent out countywide.” NBFD Fire EMS was also summoned to the scene, “medical requested at location.”

PD, Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office, Bay Cities Ambulance, Pacific Power, Mast Bros. Towing Coos Bay, Medical Examiner Kristine Karcher and Coos Co. District Attorney Paul Frasier. Two males, ages 21 & 25 were also “Involved/Contacted.”
