Pants Down
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Feb. 3, 3:03 p.m., Broadway & Lombard, “RP reported man running with pants down. Officer contacted subject, was having issues with his belt. Assistance rendered.” At 3:26 p.m., Virginia & Broadway, same 41-year old individual, “RP reported male subject with pants down flashing traffic. Subject taken to BAH on Mental Hold. Subect will be referred for Probation Violation and Disorderly Conduct. Handled by officer.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Feb. 4, 1:03 a.m., 1300 block Sherman Ave., “officer out with subjects at location,” 34-year old Brett A. Carpenter, North Bend, arrested on NBPD warrant charging Probation Violation/Possession of Meth. Additional charges of Probation Violation, Criminal Trespass II, Interfering with Police, PCS Meth, Escape III and False Info to Police. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
