Quijada, North Bend, charged with Assault IV Domestic, Strangulation and Menacing. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Jan. 8, 3:24 p.m., 1800 block Sherman Ave., “PO request detain subject if located, subject located and arrested, NBPD served CCSO warrant,” on 20-year old Christopher R. Rauschert, Coos Bay, charging Disorderly Conduct II, Harassment, and Probation Violation Detainer. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Jan. 9, 4:43 p.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “disturbance with male and female guest. RP of male threw bag at female and hit her in the head. Female screamed and male covered her mouth. Officers responded. No reported physical contact or injuries by either party on scene – they did advise he threw a plastic bag. Male will leave on his own accord.”

Entry on the CBPD log for Saturday, Jan. 9, 6:59 p.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart, “wanted subject in the store,” Peckham arrested on 3 CBPD warrants charging Theft II, Criminal Mischief II and two-counts of Contempt of Court.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Jan. 9, 9:01 p.m., 1600 block Virginia, “shoplifter fled in red car westbound on Virginia from Big 5. Attempt to locate red 2D vehicle with black wheels and shoplifter description sent Coos Co. Officers reviewing video. Theft II.”
