According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 24, 10:48 a.m., 1700 block Grant St., “2 suspicious male subjects in a black vehicle at neighbor’s residence. Nobody is supposed to be there.” Vehicle stopped at Virginia & Cedar Ct., 27-year old Dustin Lee, North Bend, cited for DWS Violation and Driving Uninsured. “Both subjects permanently trespassed from location. Any proof of items missing they will be charged with Burglary. Vehicle secured on scene.”
Generator theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 24, 4:17 p.m., 1700 block Lincoln St., “theft of generator from back of his truck last night.” Value $400.
Assault with Cane
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 24, 7:23 p.m., 2400 block Sherman Ave., “RP reported that he was assaulted by neighbor. Neighbor hit him with his cane,” 61-year old Edgar Smith, North Bend, charged with Assault II and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
