He did not answer the phone.” Thirty-two year old Raymond L. Osborn, Coos Bay, arrested on CCSO warrants charging Failure to Appear on Traffic Offense and DWS-Misdemeanor. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Oct. 17, 1:39 p.m., 1700 block Virginia Ave., 19-year old Ethan B. Purkey, Myrtle Pt., charged with Violation of Restraining Order and warned for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device. Nineteen year old Hayley R. Koch, Myrtle Pt., charged with Violation of Restraining Order. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Oct. 17, 5:35 p.m., 1700 block Sherman Ave., “RP reports 2 suspicious vehicles parked at the CFN Station since 1545 hours.” Forty-nine year old Wayne Randall Embry, transient, arrested on Columbia Co. warrant charging Probation Violation on Theft I charge. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Grocery thief
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Oct. 18, 11:38 a.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “RP reported elder male left with basket full of groceries in a red hatchback.” A Coquille Tribal Police officer stopped the vehicle on the Cape, and transported the suspect back to Safeway. Fifty year old Don Sanders, transient, cited for Theft II, value $281.28. Permanently trespassed from Safeway and all PV properties.
Strangulation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Oct. 18, 1:32 p.m., 2800 block Sherman Ave., “RP reported a male subject choking his girlfriend in stairway at location.” Forty-five year old James Drake, North Bend, taken into custody for strangulation and menacing/domestic. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
