According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Nov. 27, 4:52 p.m., 3201 Tremont Ave. Mill Casino, “theft of mislaid property from location.” Cited in lieu of custody, 40-year old LaDonna Medlock Walter for Theft II and Theft by Receiving. One year restriction given.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Nov. 28, 7:30 a.m., Virginia & Harrison, “officer out with subjects at location.” Twenty-two year old Crystal L. Parker, Coos Bay, arrested for Probation Violation and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Fraud
Back to back entries on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Nov. 28, involving suspected fraud. At 5:08 a.m., 1400 block Union Ave., “RP reporting possible fraud through Craigs List. Officer spoke with RP, RP not a victim of any crime and advised him to ignore the text messages and to not cash any checks.” At 5:54 a.m., 1400 block Airport Way, “RP reports that a client she caregives for is receiving phone calls early in the morning from a male that says he has a package waiting for her and to send money somewhere to receive it.”

Asked to leave
Entries on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 29. At 7:58 p.m., 2000 block Ohio St., “RP reports that there is an intoxicated female in the residence that is being disorderly and refusing to leave. Officers contacted RP, subject has been living there and it is a Civil Issue. RP advised that he would call back if she started destroying property or getting worse.” At 9:55 p.m., same address, “RP request officers respond to remove a subject from his residence. Officers responded and advised subject to leave the premises. Officers stood by while subject gathered her belongings and her dog.”

Burglary & Alarms
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 29, 2080 Newmark St., Public Square Shopping Center, Nexdor, “business broken into at location.” Report taken for Burglary II and Theft II. At 9:13 a.m., 1930 Newmark St., La Costa Restaurant, “alarm at location.” At 9:37 p.m., 1350 Ocean Blvd., “officer out on an alarm at Honda World. Security is on scene and advised to cancel.” At 10:13 p.m., 1906 Everett St., “motion alarm at Platt Electric. Officer responded and checked the building and perimeter. Advised building is secure.” On the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, Nov. 29, 581 No. Bayshore Dr., 38-year old male reported “burglary,” at the Kozy Kitchen restaurant.

UEMV
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 29, 5:09 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “RP reports someone entered her vehicle while parked at Safeway and stole some spare change and her prescriptions. Officer responded to take report for charge / UEMV and Theft III. No suspects or leads at this time. Door was left unlocked.”

Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 29, 12:19 p.m., end of Colorado St., “subjects fighting at location. Juvenile Dept. authorized detainer on juvenile.” Charged with Assault II, Assault IV, PCS 1 (Meth), Disorderly Conduct, Harassment and Criminal Mischief I. Transported to Coquille Valley Hospital and then released to Juvenile Dept. Others warned for Disorderly Conduct.

Recovered gun
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 29, 10:56 a.m., 1300 block Sherman Ave., “OSP reports possible match on stolen gun. Officer responded and seized the weapon and brought it back to the station. Officer will follow up with Jackson County Sheriff regarding return of the firearm.”

Shots fired
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 29, 9:21 a.m., 900 block Commercial St., “shots fired.” Twenty-four year old Michael P. Kutsch, North Bend, charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Disorderly Conduct. Seventy-three year old Kathryn Smith, North Bend, charged with Interfering. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Mill Casino
Entries on the North Bend Police log regarding the Mill Casino, 3201 Tremont Ave., on Friday, Nov. 29. 7:22 a.m., “vehicle broken into.” At 9:48 p.m., “male ground level fall.” 11:42 p.m., “Mill Casino Security request assistance, minor altercation occurred in bar area, they have one in custody. Officers responded, subject was trespassed by the Casino for one year and he left the property on foot.” Cited for Criminal Trespass II and warned for Disorderly Conduct II. At 2:39 a.m., Nov. 30, “Mill Casino Security advised they found a possible marijuana cigarette in the bar. Officer contacted Security, seized item for destruction.”
