North Coos Waterfront split its American Legion baseball games at Grants Pass Wednesday. The Waterfront won the opener 2-1, but lost the nightcap 6-3. North Coos (3-3) host Ashland in a home opener Friday, 1 p.m. at Clyde Allen Field.
