Waterfront
North Coos Waterfront, the Bay Area’s American Legion baseball team, split a doubleheader at South Medford on Saturday moving into a tie for first place in the ‘A’ Area North standings. South Medford won the opener 4-2, but the Waterfront took the second game 4-3. North Coos (4-2, 11-6) plays at North Medford today and hosts Sheldon (4-2, 11-6) on Wednesday at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend.
