Out of Compliance
A traffic stop June 10, 9:09 a.m., revealed a passenger was “out of compliance with his sex offender registration.”  According to an Oregon State Police report, 21-year old Cory Ray Schuster was arrested and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Two arrested during Traffic Stop
A traffic stop June 10, 4:40 p.m., on the Cape Arago Hwy. at Harrison led to the arrest of the driver and a passenger.  According to an OSP report, 47-year old Delbert C. Floyd, the driver, was arrested for Criminal DWS.  “A search incident to arrest found heroin and marijuana on the driver’s person.”  He was cited for Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Criminal DWS, PCS Less than an Oz. of Marijuana and Driving Uninsured.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  A passenger, 32-year old Ralph Jeremy Cagle was arrested on a Parole Violation.

DUII
A silver Honda Civic stopped June 11, 1:24 p.m., at Broadway and Thompson Road in Coos Bay for an Improper Left Turn, led to the arrest of the driver.  According to an OSP report, the driver, 28-year old Jonathan David Staggs “showed signs and symptoms of impairment.”  He failed a Field Sobriety Test and a consent search of his vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine and marijuana.  Staggs was transported to the Coos Bay PD for a breath test, and then the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille charged with DUII, Reckless Driving, Felon in Possession of Weapon, PCS Meth, PCS Less than an Oz. Marijuana, Driving While Suspended, and Driving Uninsured.

Laying on the Side of the Road
A male lying on the side of Hwy. 42 between Hatfield Road and Bridge Lane near Myrtle Point, led to an arrest on June 12, 5:58 p.m.  According to an OSP report, Bridge Fire and Myrtle Point Ambulance responded.  Forty-four year old Douglas Scott Roberts “was visibly highly intoxicated.”  A Probation Officer from Lane Co. authorized a detainer due to his No Intox and No Weapons violations.  Two knives were seized.  Roberts was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
