DUII
A 30-year old male was admitted to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay March 4 with serious injuries from a single vehicle accident on the Cape Arago Hwy.  According to an Oregon State Police report, Troy Allen Brown was already transported to the hospital from the 4:12 p.m. accident near Kellogg Road.  The 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser went over a 15-foot embankment on the westbound side of the highway.  “An investigation revealed that the driver was impaired by controlled substances and he voluntarily provided blood and urine.”

Meth
A green Honda Accord stopped March 4 at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Newmark Ave. in Coos Bay for a lighting violation led to narcotics charges.  According to an OSP report, “an investigation revealed the operator unlawfully possessed methamphetamine in the form of a pipe and residue bag.”  Thirty-one year old Anthony Hugh Brown, North Bend, was identified by his passport.  He was arrested on the charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille, “where he was released on citation.”  The vehicle was towed.

Discarded Cigarette Violation
A 69-year old North Bend male was cited for Offensive Littering March 7, after he was witnessed by an Oregon State Police Trooper “throwing an extinguished cigarette out of the driver side window while stopped at a stoplight on Virginia Ave. and Sherman Avenue in North Bend.”  David Leo Burke was the operator of the white Mercury Sable.

Meth
A Lincoln Town car, stopped for at North Cammann St. and Newmark Ave. in Coos Bay March 11 for a traffic violation, led to a drug arrest.  According to an OSP report, “With the assistance of a Coos Bay PD Detection Canine, I located approximately 8g of meth, packaging material, a scale, syringes, and a used meth pipe.”  The driver, identified as 34-year old Tabitha Dawn Stimpson, Riddle, was arrested for PCS-Meth.  The three passengers were also arrested.  Thirty-eight year old Terry Allen Paiva, Jr., Coos Bay, was charged with Probation Violation and PCS-DCS Meth.  The other two passengers, 22-year old Kyle Joseph Fugate, Canyonville, and 28-year old Troy Lynn Harrison, Roseburg, were both charged with Probation Violation.
