During Week 51, 4.1% of all emergency department visits in Oregon were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). Among Oregon labs participating in the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS), 37.2% of specimens tested were positive for influenza. 123 influenza-related hospitalizations were reported during Week 51 in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. 11 ILI/influenza-related outbreaks were reported.
