The fields are set for the 2019 OSAA 3A State Basketball Tournament at Marshfield & North Bend high schools this week. Competition will begin on Thursday, Feb. 28 and run through Saturday, March 2 with the championship games at MHS. The boy’s bracket Thursday quarterfinals at NBHS has Sutherlin (21-5) & De La Salle North Catholic (22-4) at 1:30 p.m.; Nyssa (18-8) & Pleasant Hill (21-5) at 3:15 p.m.; Clatskanie (15-7) & Dayton (22-5) at 6:30 p.m., and Amity (17-8) & Santiam Christian (23-3) at 8:15 p.m. The girl’s bracket Thursday at MHS has Brookings-Harbor (14-8) vs. No. 1 Burns (25-1) at 1:30 p.m.; Oregon Episcopal (16-8) vs. Clatskanie (18-4) at 3:15 p.m.; Vale (15-10) vs. Blanchet Catholic (22-4) at 6:30 p.m.; and, Warrenton (20-7) vs. No. 2 Salem Academy (23-4) at 8:15 p.m.
