North Bend beat visiting Valley Catholic, of Beaverton, 4-2 in an OSAA first round prep baseball playoff game at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend Wednesday, May 23. The Bulldogs (23-3) will travel to Gladstone Friday, May 23rd, for a 5 p.m., quarter-final game. Brookings-Harbor, the No. 2 team out of the Far West League, lost at Gladstone (19-8) in the first round 4-0 to end the Bruins (19-9) season.
