The OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union Speech & Debate Finals were held at Western Oregon University in Monmouth Friday & Saturday, April 19th & 20th. Marshfield’s Brianna Giacomini placed fifth in Dramatic Interpretation. Pirate teams of Kaylin Dea & Gonzalez placed fourth in Duo Interpretation, while Leah-Crooks & Trevor Moen were fifth. Other MHS placers: Trevor Moen took fourth in Humorous Interpretation, while Madelin Deleon was sixth in Informative. Entries from North Bend, Bandon & Coquille were also involved in the statewide competition.
