Trespassing
A 20-year old Umatilla, OR male was arrested July 11, following a trespassing complaint on the Cape Arago Hwy. at Tarheel Lane. According to an Oregon State Police report, “I recognized CHI as the suspect of a trespassing complaint I had investigated earlier for CCSO. I contacted CHI and arrested him for Criminal Trespass. His probation officer authorized a detainer and a consent search of his backpack led to the discovery of methamphetamine.” Alfredo Ahumada Chi was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Standoff at Belloni Shelter Care
Two 13-year old male juveniles were involved in a standoff at the Belloni Shelter Care on Karl Road south of Coos Bay July 13. According to an OSP report, a disturbance was reported at 9:15 p.m. “Two male juveniles were reportedly involved in a dispute, and juvenile #1 damaged a table in the facility common area, and armed himself with a piece of wood from the table. Juvenile #2 damaged a wooden bench on the outside porch of the facility, arming himself with a large portion of wood from the base of the bench that had rusty screws protruding from it. Juvenile #1 threatened juvenile #2 and facility staff with the improvised weapon. Juvenile #2 had threatened juvenile #1 because of the offensive statements that he had made, and juvenile #2 stated to law enforcement that he had wanted to kill juvenile #1.” Both were placed in custody and transported to the Coos Co. Juvenile Dept. before being transported on to the Douglas Co. Juvenile Detention Facility in Roseburg.
