DUII
Both the driver and passenger were arrested following a traffic stop at Newmark Ave. and S. Wasson St. in the Empire District of Coos Bay Feb. 3, 10:55 p.m. According to an Oregon State Police report, 41-year old Anthony Murrey Ness, Coos Bay, was charged with DUII – Alcohol, Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering of Another Person. The passenger, 40-year old Dianne Ellen Martinez, North Bend, was arrested on a warrant charging Probation Violation. A search of the white Toyota 4Runner “revealed that she unlawfully possessed Schedule I controlled substance methamphetamine. Illegal fireworks were seized for destruction.” Both were transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Passenger arrested
A black Honda Civic stopped for an equipment violation Feb. 6, 6:42 a.m., Hwy. 101, mp 229 Hauser, led to the arrest of a passenger. According to an OSP report, A K9 conducted a “free air sniff” of the vehicle and detected drugs. A search of the vehicle resulted in the location of suspected Heroin and Marijuana. The driver, 32-year old Michael Alan Moe, North Bend, and the passenger, 24-year old Kyle Robert Thompson, Bandon, were charged with PCS Heroin, and Thompson was also arrested for Probation Violation.

Feb. 7, 10:38 a.m., 10th & Elrod, Coos Bay, green Honda Accord, stopped for traffic violations, 26-year old Candra Leeann Adolphson, Coos Bay, found to be driving while suspended and uninsured. Vehicle impounded. Feb. 7, 4:29 p.m., Hwy. 101 & Wildwood Road, North Bend, 23-year old Cameron Gregory Duncan, Reedsport, cited for No Operator’s License and Driving Uninsured. Silver/aluminum Ford Taurus impounded. Feb. 8, 8:36 a.m., Hwy. 101, mp 250, silver/aluminum Pontiac Grand stopped for traffic violations. Twenty-five year old Matthew Parise Driving Uninsured. Vehicle impounded. Feb. 9, 8:37 a.m., Hwy. 240 (Cape Arago Hwy.), mp 9, Charleston, 54-year old Samuel Allen Benson, North Bend, stopped in a green Ford Explorer for traffic violations. Cited for DWS and warned for Failure to Return Suspended License and Presenting Invalid License. Vehicle impounded.
