Maybe they should have ridden through the desert on a horse with no name!  Oregon and Oregon State’s venture into the Desert to play Arizona & Arizona State in Pac-12 men’s basketball didn’t favor the Pacific Northwest teams.  The Ducks got a split by beating Arizona Thursday 59-54 in Tucson, but then stumbled on Saturday in Tempe 64-78 to ASU.  Oregon (2-3, 11-7) has Washington at home Thursday, 6 p.m., ESPN2, and Washington State at home on Sunday, 5 p.m., ESPNU.  The Beavers were swept.  OSU lost to Arizona State Thursday 67-70, and then dropped a 71-82 game to Arizona on Saturday.  Oregon State (3-2, 11-6) has Washington St. at home Thursday, 8 p.m. and Washington on Saturday, 1 p.m., both on the Pac-12 Networks.
