Coos Bay news release. This month, in conjunction with the Wastewater Treatment Plant Number 2 construction project, the City of Coos Bay will be installing a temporary construction crosswalk light at the intersection of South Empire Boulevard and Fulton Avenue. This temporary installation will help the construction workers and pedestrians safely cross South Empire Boulevard. The light will be removed when the project is complete in September 2018. Please always watch for pedestrians while driving and be prepared to stop when yellow flashing lights are observed.
