News release CBPL.  Coos Bay Public Library will be offering an Introduction to Pixlr class. Pixlr is a free online photo editing platform. This class will be held on Friday, November 17th, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the library’s Internet computers (entrance at 9:15am). Class is designed for users who want to edit or manipulate their electronic photos. Attendees will learn basic functions of the Pixlr platform including how to open a new photo, get rid of red eye, make a picture black & white, and add text to photos. Class will also cover the basics of how to use layers to manipulate photos. Users will become familiar with many of the Pixlr tools and editing options. Attendees should be comfortable using a computer mouse and the Internet. It is strongly encouraged that people bring their own electronic photo, but it is not required. There is no admission charged.
