The two-time defending state champion Seagulls (0-0) play the Pirates (1-0) in Coos Bay Friday night. The rest of the poll has Banks (2-1) No. 3, followed by Stayton (1-0), Gladstone (1-0), Valley Catholic (1-1), Woodburn (1-0), Philomath (1-0), Newport (2-1) and Marist Catholic (0-1).
