Marshfield’s boys finally got their 2017 prep soccer opener in Saturday, Sept. 9, at home against Crater. The Pirates and Comets tied at 1-1. The Pirates are scheduled to host Cottage Grove, Tuesday, 7 p.m. at Pete Susick Stadium in Coos Bay. North Bend’s boys also host Philomath this afternoon at 4 p.m. at Vic Adams Field. Marshfield’s girls play at Cottage Grove, 7 p.m.
