A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded at Cape Mendocino in Northern California early Friday morning, April 21, where two fault lines begin that then run north parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to southwest of Ferndale, CA.
