Quake, Aug. 19

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded Friday morning, Aug. 16, west of Coos Bay. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake stuck at 8:23 a.m. on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
