A 3.2-magnitude earthquake shook the southern end of the two fault lines that begin at Cape Mendocino in Northern California and then run parallel with the Oregon Coast.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded on Thursday, March 23, and was located west to southwest of Ferndale, CA.
