A 3.5-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Friday morning, Dec. 15, where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA.
