A 2.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Cape Mendocino in Northern California early Wednesday morning, Feb. 20. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Petrolia, CA where two fault lines begin that run parallel to the Oregon Coast.
