A magnitude 4.7 earthquake shook the area where two fault lines begin in Northern California Thursday night, July 21, and then run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 11:09 p.m. and was located 19-kilometers southeast of Bayside, CA, near Cape Mendocino.
