A 2.5-magnitude earthquake shook the junction in Northern California where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 11:22 p.m. and was located 35 kilometers south to southwest of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino.
