A 3.3-magnitude earthquake rocked the outer fault of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Sunday, Jan. 14.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino.  Two large quakes hit the northern end of the two fault lines off Canada in the Pacific Ocean Sunday, Jan. 14.  One was a magnitude 4.0, and the second was a 4.3, both west of Port Hardy, Canada.
