Two major quakes shook the outer fault line of two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast on Wednesday, Oct. 18.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.2-magnitude quake was located West to Northwest of Ferndale, CA, near Cape Mendoncino, was preceded by a 3.2-magnitude quake the night before, Tuesday, Oct. 17.
