A 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, Aug. 3. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Port Orford in Curry County. A similar quake, a 2.6-magnitude, was recorded in the same area on Sunday, Aug. 5.
