Bunker Hill, CCSO report – On May 17, 2019, at about 12:17 PM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the rail road tracks off of Mullen Road in Bunker Hill, Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon regarding a male subject tampering with the rail cars. Railroad Staff had already detained the person at the scene. Upon the Deputy’s arrival, it was learned the subject, identified as 33 year old Joseph John Tracey IV had been running along the tracks and tampering with the bleed lines for the railcar brakes. Tracey was arrested for Criminal Trespass I, Criminal Mischief III and Disorderly Conduct II. Tracey was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked on the aforementioned charges. At the jail, Tracey provided a breath sample which showed him to have a Blood Alcohol Content of .15%.
