On November 17th, 2017, at approximately 9:20 AM, a gold Mazda pickup was seen driving recklessly before a collision with a commercial motor vehicle. The driver of the pickup exited the pickup armed with a firearm and was taken into custody by law enforcement a short time later. There are no outstanding suspects at this time. The Oregon State Police is primary on the investigation. Northbound traffic was stopped for a short time, and possible witnesses may have left the scene when traffic began moving again. Witnesses to the incident, collision, or driving behavior of a gold pickup, are asked to contacted the Oregon State Police Northern Command Center at (800) 452-7888.
