Disaster responders with the American Red Cross Cascades Region responded to a multi family home fire disaster on December 2, 2016, at approximately 12:00 a.m. which occurred December 1, 2016 in the 1000 block of Anderson Avenue, Coos Bay, OR. The fire affected two adults. The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services.
