A 63-year old male was arrested on a charge of First Degree Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon Tuesday, Feb. 26, following an argument where his 38-year old stepson ended up with a shoulder wound from a small caliber handgun. According to a report, Reedsport Police were summoned in the afternoon to a residence on Hawthorne Ave. They found the wounded victim who was transported to Lower Umpqua Hospital and later transferred to Eugene. David Fickle was arrested and lodged in the Reedsport City Jail and later transferred to the Douglas Co. Jail at Roseburg.
