On September 21, 2017 at approximately 7:10pm, OSP responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on State Route 211 near SE Fernwood Drive, near Eagle Creek. Preliminary investigation revealed that a gold 2004 Dodge Intrepid, operated by Brianna Elizabeth Kelly Kemper, age 26, of Eugene was traveling southbound on SR 211 near SE Fernwood Drive, when for an unknown reason the Dodge left the roadway and drove into a ditch. The Dodge continued southbound in the ditch, collided with the PGE power pole, rolled over and came to a stop on its top. Kemper sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
