The South Coast All-Stars, 13-year old state Babe Ruth Champions, lost 3-1 to Northern Washington in their opener at the Babe Ruth Regionals in Meridian, ID, Wednesday. Braydon Frietag pitched a complete game, no walks 1 strike out, allowed 6 hits. At the plate he was 2-3 with a double & single plus an RBI scoring Javier Analco who had singled in the 3rd inning for the South Coast’s only run. Chris Reed, Caleb Freitag & Bryce Campbell also hit singles. South Coast All Stars play Camas, WA @ 8 AM, Thursday. Earlier, Camas defeated The Dalles 11-0.
