Southwestern Oregon Community College is offering a free workshop series called “Parenting Your Teens”. This series will run for five weeks. We will explore adolescent brain development, communication, problem solving and much more. All classes are brought to you FREE of charge and are open to everyone. The workshops will take place at Sunset Middle School in Coos Bay, Tuesday evenings, February 18 to March 18, 2014, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. FREE dinner and childcare will be available with your registration. The Workshops are co-sponsored by Southwestern Oregon Community College, Children’s Trust Fund of Oregon and Pathways to Positive Parenting. Free CEU’s available for professional development. Certificates will be issued which identify completed training hours for CCD certified & registered child care providers, foster parents, & other participants.
