Former Southwestern Oregon Community College Coach John Speasl and former Oregon wrestler Miles Hancock will be among seven inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame by its Oregon chapter May 5 in Tigard.  Speasl, who wrestled at Lebanon High, Clark College and Southern Oregon College before spending 38 years as a wrestling coach and administrator with the Lakers in Coos Bay. Hancock, a 1979 Pendleton High graduate who placed at the Pac-10 Championships four times, is being honored for his lifetime service. The class also includes Cleve Thompson (Portland), Milo Meskel (Portland), Doug Samarron (West Linn), Bob Bishop (Willamina) and Darrel Kauffman (Lebanon and Corvallis).
