We are working closely with the State of Oregon in the planning and holding of an exciting StORytime Early Literacy Launch activity on October 22nd. We will have almost 500 kindergarteners, their teachers, volunteers and parents attending. State School Supt. Nancy Golden will be our featured speaker. We are in the process of gathering community leaders to attend and read a story to a kindergarten class as the event begins. There are 19 classes that will be attending from Coos Bay, North Bend and Reedsport.
