News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On August 30, 2015 at approximately 5:34, A Coos County Deputy responded to 48523 Highway 101 for a report of a domestic dispute. Bandon Police responded to assist. Carold Ray Morton was arrested and charged with Strangulation and Assault IV. Morton was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked and lodged on the above charges.
