Southwestern Oregon’s women’s basketball team fell 78-60 to visiting Clackamas CC Saturday afternoon at Prosper Hall on the Coos Bay campus. Riley Wahl scored 14, Sydney Smith 13, Katelyn Rossback 11, Jade Chavez 7, Savannah Thurman 6, Tiare Sugui 5, Ashley Ensminger 2, Kaylie Vaughan 2. The Lakers (2-7, 10-12) play at Umpqua CC near Roseburg Wednesday, Feb. 3. SWOCC’s men beat Clackamas 92-87 in the second game of the NWAC doubleheader. Erik Johnson scored 25, Davonta Price 14, Duke Mitchell 10, Mike Fesser Jr. 10, Thomas Salmon 10, Jake Lucero 10, Cameron Lucero 7, Ivan Harper 6. Southwestern’s men (5-4, 11-11) are also at Umpqua CC Wednesday.
