Southwestern Oregon stepped into the NWAACC men’s basketball playoffs by handing visiting Portland CC a 103-86 loss at Prosper Hall Saturday in Coos Bay. Six Laker players scored in double figures led by LaDarrell Mongkholtham’s 23. SWOCC finishes with a record of 10-4 in the South Division, same as Portland CC and Clackamas CC. All three qualify for the Regional Championships. Southwestern’s women fell 76-57 to visiting Portland CC in their final game of the 2013-14 regular season. The Lakers (2-10, 13-15) were led by Yvonne Daniels’ 13-points.
